Policies (Computer Configuration)

The Policies section contains Group Policies which allows administrators to set or restrict settings for the client. As these settings are stored in a different part of the registry, you can apply and misapply a policy without loosing the original setting.

Many settings also disable the according dialog. For example setting a background image is also disabling the file chooser to set another image.

The policies are divided into three sections:

• Software Settings
• Windows Settings
• Administrative Templates
